Preliminary Races begin at 9:00am
10th & Adams Road, by Charles Page High School
- Car can’t weigh more than 177 lbs (does not include driver)
must have a driver & can have up to ONE passenger - Car cannot be longer than 20 feet and 1 inch
- Car cannot be wider than 6 feet and 1 inch
- Car cannot be taller than 7 feet and 1 inch
- Car must be steerable
- Car must have some form of braking system besides FRED FLINTSTONE FEET
- Car must have a minimum of 2 wheels – your choice on wheel materials
- NO human or other auxiliary propulsion systems – Let Gravity do the work!v
- Entry fee: Adult $25.00 per driver. Students: 9th grade and under $10.00 per driver (Each vehicle will be allowed only 3 drivers – with paid entry fee)
- Your team will be responsible for getting your car to the starting line at 10th & Adams from PIT ROW.
Divisions: Adult Competitive – built for speed, Adult Novelty – built for fun, Youth Competitive – built for speed, Youth Novelty – built for fun (youth is 9th grade and under)
Safety: Mandatory that all drivers wear helmet, long pants, long sleeved shirt, and closed toe shoes.
Car inspections and driver meeting will be Friday, October 15, 2010.
Cars will be judged in 3 categories and you can focus on all or just one category. There will separate awards for youth division.

- SHOWMANSHIP
- CREATIVITY
The most coveted award is the PEOPLE’S CHOICE — which is voted by the folks attending the Great Downhill Race. Ballot boxes will be available at information tents.
Collector’s TEE SHIRTS will also be available for this Annual Event in Sand Springs, OK.
